(Ron) M. Morgan,

Ronald (Ron) M. Morgan has been “of counsel” to the
law firm of Monks, Monks, Monks & Hiran, P.C. since February,
1996. His practice has been in the area of plaintiffs personal injury,
insurance litigation, business, and criminal defense.
Mr. Morgan also is experienced in driver’s license suspension
issues, including license suspension hearings and applications for
Restricted (Occupational) licenses. He is a fully trained mediator,
though he has used that training primarily
for the purpose of better representing his clients.
Mr. Morgan earned
his Bachelor's degree from Richmond College of the City University
of New York, and a Master of Public Administration
from the University of Colorado. He graduated from the South Texas
College of Law in 1989 and became licensed in the State of Texas
in 1990. He is licensed by the Supreme Court of the State of Texas
and the United States District Court for the Southern District
of Texas. He is a member of the Houston Bar Association.
Mr. Morgan
is married to Kathy Ellis for three years, they have no children.
He is an avid runner having completed 22 marathons,
4 ultra
marathons, and hundreds of shorter races. He is a past President
of the Greater Houston Track Club, for many years was an officer
of and later Vice President of the Houston Area Road Runners
Association and has been on the Board of Directors of the Bayou City
Road Runners.
